Abstract Edible bird's nest (EBN) is a traditional food which was nourishing and functional. Particularly, there the epidermal growth factor (EGF) in EBN, thought to play an important role promoting skin repair. However, type content of EGF EBN were not determined yet. In this study, identified as bird by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method validated be accurate precise.
